Lead the way

[Sanaa x Elisabeth]

.:TA:. | Elisabeth | Medal by KiteProduction

It's been a few days since Elisabeth has been found in the desert and rescued by the Following. It took some day for her to recover totally, but finally her leg doesn't hurt anymore and she's able to live her new life in the Following, as an Unproven.
This morning, she decided to wake up early. Not because she had any mission to do, but anyway, now that she's a part of the pack, she needs to know more about all of those new things. The god, Zonje, the other dogs ... And obviously, how to not get lost in the territory.
Too proud to asks someone to help her, the young female ended totally lost. She could recognize the dens of the Unproven, where she came from. On the other side, it's the market place.
Other than that, she doesn't know where to start. The place was filling with dogs, and now it was pretty hard for her to clearly see where to go.
Also, some dogs were jostling her, pushing her in different directions.

" Can't you watch where you're going ? " She says with an aggressive tone.
With some difficulties, she finally escaped the crowd, walking along all shops, taking a quick look at the merchants and their products. To the eyes of the other dogs, she was obviously a newcomer, lost in this community way too big for her.

She found herself window shopping again.

In truth Sanaa was only at the markets to meet up with a fellow Hunter - a bonding experience of sorts beyond the labors of work. It was Sanaa's idea to get to know the rest of the Hunters when they weren't working, as she was keen to integrate herself into this new family. So far there was a level of success - the Hunters were very easygoing, and the rumor about the group being very family-oriented had proven true as well. So naturally Sanaa fell in quickly with them.

The other Hunter had not shown up yet, so Sanaa thought it was possible either they had forgotten or were asked to go on an assignment last minute. Neither of which Sanaa took offense to, for she found herself enthralled with the hustle and bustle of the streets.

Can't you watch where you're going? someone snapped. Sanaa's ears perked, turning to the direction of where she heard the voice and seeing a striking blonde and white colored dog trot through the crowd. The dog was large and stand-out among the other dogs.

A small smile wormed its way to Sanaa's face. Ah, another newcomer. So many of them lately. Adjusting her red and gold shawl that she liked to wear when she was not on duty, she approached the other dog. "Excuse me, but you seem new to The Ascended. Perhaps I could help you?" she offered, her tone kind.

As she's walking near to the crowd, trying to find her way out, a smaller dog with a red shawl comes to talk with her. Elisabeth was surprised by the question of the dog, but it also makes her happy to see someone who wasn't here to push her like the crowd did. Also, the smaller dog was already sure that Elisabeth is new to the Following. After all, she looks totaly lost and unsure about where to go...
Without forgetting her " good manners ", Elisabeth tryed to introduce herself properly.

" Aye ma'am, I'm a-... Yeah I'm new. " She doesn't really know what to say, not because she's shy of course. But how can she reacts in front of this new dog ? She doesn't even know her name ...
" I'm Elisabeth - but please call me Ilse -. And ya ma'am ? " Quickly, she inspected the other dog. Smaller than her, thinner too. She seems to be that kind of good dog, reminding her of her brother Lanzo a little. That same look, soft but also kind and nice. It warms her heart a little. Maybe making a friend, or at least not an enemy, should be good. The bigger female sat down, looking at the other deeply in the eyes.

" It's nice from ya, but--- I really don't wanna make you waste your time. " Even if she's totally lost, being helped by an other dog was too hard for her. This girl has a serious esteem of herself after all.

"Oh you're not wasting my time at all!" Sanaa protested, waving her paw over the other's concern. "I was just waiting for someone, but it seems like they're running late. Besides, if you're new here, a little advice never helps. I remember what it was like when I came here."

She shook her head, her ears following in every direction. Ilse, hmm? "It's very nice to meet you Elizabeth. I'm Sanaa, I'm a Hunter. You... wouldn't mind if I called you Elizabeth though, would you? We have our Bas Ilsa." Sanaa wasn't sure how much the tall dog had already known, whether whispers on the wind or what she managed to hear, but she assumed that the dog surely heard of their Sovereign.

At the very least, the dog seemed keen to understand where she was exactly. A good sign, Sanaa thought.

Sanaa assured that helping Elisabeth doesn't bother her, and in fact it makes the big female being a little uncomfortable. How can she say no, now ? " Well, if ya don't mind ... " The newcomer finally tried to make an effort and accept an help from someone she doesn't really know. " But I owe you one, of course. Whatever you want ma'am. " Her pride made her want to return the help Sanaa offered. In this case, Elisabeth has a debt toward Sanaa now.

" And, yeah, I understand. Obviously now I'll have to deal without my nickname. But okay, ma'am Sanaa, ya can call me Elisabeth. " She shrugged with a large smile on her face. Deep inside, she cares about her nickname. It reminded her of her old life, that's how her family used to call her. But being forced to face her real name could be a new start, for her new life in the Following. Or just the fact that she wasn't able to decide about lot of things anymore. Anyway, life goes on.
Elisabeth didn't want to lost a second, and asked Sanaa directly about what embarrassed her.

" Actually, I wanted to know more about the community, ya know. But well, all I was able to do was to lost myself here. " She laughed, trying to clear the air. " Maybe, ya know, you can show me the territory ? I didn't have time before " Of course, she wasn't able to walk until last night, and even now her leg was fragile.

"Oh no please, don't feel like you have to owe me anything." Sanaa was quick to say. "I don't mind helping you out. It's okay." She didn't understand what it was with some of these dogs and feeling they had a debt to repay her. She only knew that she was okay with what she was doing. No repayment was necessary.

She was about to protest the use of such a term as 'ma'am', as Sanaa didn't want it to seem like she was more superior to Elisabeth, but before she had the chance the dog rushed on with her concerns. Swallowing her protest, Sanaa nodded along, smiling. "Of course I can show you. It's a lot to take in, but I promise that you'll understand it how it works around here quickly." At least I hope so for your sake. So far, Elisabeth seemed to have a good head on her shoulders. She didn't seem to be a problem dog to Sanaa, which was a good sign.

But who knows? Sanaa was sure one's true persona came out the more comfortable they were.

But she tried not to think about that and give Elisabeth the benefit of the doubt that she would not cause trouble for herself. So with a skip in her step to start this tour, Sanaa began to explain. "I suppose we'll start with the marketplace. It's pretty much self-explanatory - this is where we do our trades and buy our items. There are a lot of trinkets to choose from, depending on if you, uh, like to be fancy or not. And it tends to be crowded a lot obviously. You'll see a bunch of differently ranked dogs come by here for a lot of reasons."

Sanaa trotted ahead, ready to commence with the rest of this tour, but stopped and patiently waited for Elisabeth to catch up so she didn't lose her along the way. Definitely would not be a good impression for either of them.

Sanaa seemed to be embarrassed about the offer Elisabeth made. She understood, but she still wanted to do something for Sanaa, one day.
As they walk in the market place, in the middle of the crowd, Elisabeth listened to her guide attentively to every words. Even when some of them makes the newcomer smile a little.
Elisabeth ? Fancy ? The big dog tried to not laugh in front of Sanaa. Does she really looks like all those dogs, precious and haughty ? But she agrees with her guide, this place seemed to be always crowded like that, something that the newcomer doesn't really appreciate.
The visit continued, Elisabeth followed Sanaa without complaining, but it was hard to keep an eyes on her with all those dogs around, even if the guide makes some pauses, waiting for the new follower. Finally, the newcomer gets near to her guide, looking around with curiosity, and some excitement.
" I've never seen so many dogs together like that. Ya know, I appreciate being a part of the Following. " A small part yet, but due to her debt toward the pack, the newcomer was too enthusiastic to help her new family. " I'm excited to see the rest of the visit ma'am ! " Elisabeth started to speed up, while keeping an eye on Sanaa. She didn't wanted to be lost again.

Liking the fact that Elisabeth not only seemed keen to learn but was excited as well made Sanaa's heart feel warm. She didn't know why exactly, but perhaps it was seeing another dog so engaged in the environment around them. Or perhaps it was an idea that Elisabeth was not only appreciating her help, but genuinely enjoying her company as well. Either way, Sanaa smiled, nodding her head and gesturing for Elisabeth to follow after her.

Sanaa led Elisabeth away from the market place, a little grateful to no longer have to shove aside another dogs to continue moving forward. As much as the markets were engaging to look at, they could be overwhelming as well. And though she was no longer the cripplingly shy dog she had been, it didn't mean she quite forgot how anxious she could get when pressed too closely to other dogs.

She thought it would be best to lead the tall dog in a complete circle of the grounds - they would pass by the Hunter's district and the Training Arena...

Oof!

"Oi! Watch where yer goin'!" a dark-furred dog, a young Warrior judging by some of the garb on her person, snapped, eyes glaring hard at Sanaa, who nursed the shoulder the dog slammed into.

Forgetting Elisabeth was with her, Sanaa focused her attention now on the Warrior. "I'm sorry I didn't-"

"'Course ya didn't!" the dog snapped back, making the creases on Sanaa's face grow. Too young, she doesn't know a hint about etiquette, she thought. "An' don't think I don't know who you are either. Big show Hunter Sanaa now, right?"

Oh, now we're mocking one another. The dog was young and seemingly confused, if Sanaa had to guess. And looking for a fight, definitely.

The two dogs walked away from the market place, the crowd was getting bigger and bigger, but Sanaa and Elisabeth were finally out of it. The newcomer followed her guide, attentive at everything around her. She's just fascinated by everything around her, and everyone. So many dogs, here, together, in peace...
Lost in her thoughts, it takes time to Elisabeth to understand the situation : The peace isn't really established yet... ? Sanaa is talking with an other dog, a dark one. First, the newcomer thought he's Sanaa's friend. But when she gets closer to the two dogs, she understood quickly that he isn't. And Sanaa looks totally lost, in front of the dark dog who seemed to be pretty agressive.

" Oi dude ! Let her go, she said she's sorry. " Elisabeth standed up for Sanaa, by getting closer to the dog who finally decided to let Sanaa, and turned his attention to the tall female.
" I'm not talking to ya, unproven. Stay in your place." The male looked deeply in Elisabeth's eyes, who clearly wasn't impressed. Even if she doesn't know who this dog is, he's clearly the one who needs to get back at his place. But when the newcomer looked at Sanaa, she was surprise by her attitude. Does she know this dog ? Is he dangerous ?

" Look at her guy, she's sorry okay ? Can't you just continue on your way ? " Elisabeth felt her muscles moving, a sign that she's loosing patience. And the behavior of the male didn't help. " Don't dude me, stupid female. I can easily get your ass kicked out of this territory."
Too anoyed by the dog, yelling and trying to prove his autority, Elisabeth lost her calm.
" Yea come on, try me. I'll show you what an unproven like me can do. " The mal shows his teeths, and begins to growl. Elisabeth stepped forward, growling like her opponent.
Close to them, some dogs who are witnessing the scene, went away, trying to not get involved in this.

"Enough!" Sanaa snarled, moving herself between both Elisabeth and the aggressive Warrior in order to prevent a fight from breaking out between all three of them. It was not in her nature to be aggressive - she was a lover, not a fighter - but times did come when one had to put their foot down, and this was such an occasion. Besides it would not be a good look for Elisabeth if she fought the Warrior - not that she thought the tall dog wouldn't win, for she was definitely more filled out than the bully - but because the Aristocracy would take the side of the Warrior. Even if said Warrior was in the wrong right now.

The Warrior snapped at Sanaa, his teeth coming close to her nose. "You don't scare me, you-"

"I don't, but Champion Cruz wouldn't think so," Sanaa growled in return, satisfied when she saw some fear creep into the Warrior's face. Ah yes, how humiliating would it be for a new Warrior if his superior found out that one of her own was acting out of conduct. Surely his title would be stripped. Or perhaps be used as an example for all the others.

And, if need be, Sanaa knew a few Warriors who might not appreciate one of their own acting in such a bad way.

The Warrior's hackles fell, though the ugly look on his face remained. Sanaa stepped forward, still growling. "If you want to continue this fight knowing those consequences, then I won't hesitate to fight back for my friend here. But know that you're looking like the bad guy here."

"Tch."

"And what about the Deacon?"

The Warrior's face sunk at once, as if he was recalling something. Sanaa hoped he would. Even for the blood she had to shed for that, she earned the respect of Deacon Vasilios. Whether he would help her or not, she was sure an unruly Warrior would be putting his name to shame. And the Aristocrats tended to care about their namesakes.

It was enough, for the Warrior shrunk back, glaring but saying nothing more. He trotted off, his tail hanging behind him.

Elisabeth is ready to fight, just like her opponent. This stupid dog has gone too far, but he gets stopped quickly. Not by a bite from the newcomer, but by Sanaa herself. She stands between the two dogs, and the tall female has to move away a little. She looked at her guide, surprise by how her behavior has changed. In fact, she's impressed by Sanaa, she didn't expect her to act that way.
But thanks to the courage of the brown female, finally the male walk away when.

" Wow, well miss, remind me to always stay on your good side ma'am. " Elisabeth starts to laugh, but on the inside she's a little stressed. What will Sanaa thinks about all of this, about the attitude of the newcomer ? After all, she acted like a rowdy, she could have acted differently... " I-Ah... I'm sorry for what happened. But this dog was, ya know... I can't help it. " How can she explain that fighting is in her habits ? But anyway, she tried to apologize, pretty awkwardly.

" Ya call me friend ma'am... " She looks at Sanaa, unsure, what can she thinks about that ? Are they friends ? That seems really quick and... Except her two brothers, Elisabeth didn't have any " friend ". It's nothing scary, but a strange feeling. Maybe she thinks that Sanaa is her friend, too ?
" Not that it's a problem at all ! I-... Well, I'm glad you see me as a friend. "
Feeling pretty uncomfortable, Elisabeth tried to change the subject, returning to the visit they were doing. " If you're okay, maybe... We can continue the visit ? " The newcomer hoped that her guide won't let her alone, and that she will not be mad at her.

"Don't apologize," Sanaa said curtly but kindly enough as she redirected her attention back to Elisabeth, the tension in her body slowly drifting away. "There are a lot of dogs in The Ascended, which means there are many that are, uhh, always looking for a fight. Personally I don't like it, but others revel in it."

Her voice grew grave for a moment as she uttered, "If you have to fight, Elisabeth, I would suggest not to. This place is big on hierarchy, and right now they've given you the lowest rank besides the slaves here. If you step out of line, it won't be good. Especially if you fight a higher-ranked dog. They'll always take the side of that dog."

Sanaa shook her head, her smile returning in spite of the grave warning she offered Elisabeth. Not that she minded the tall dog's temper - there had been worse that she had seen - but she did not want the dog to end up in hot water too quickly. If she had to learn how things worked in the Following, it was better then to offer her quick advice that she would hopefully listen to. Which seemed to be the case.

Elisabeth seemed to take a rambling tone, which seemed to stem from Sanaa calling her friend. The mastiff mix cocked her head to the side, watching her. Oh! She realized. "O-Oh, uh, you're welcome. Y-You seem like a good dog a-and, hem, well I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable if doing that did so. I mean, we just met each other and what not." She forced a laugh out of herself.

"I mean if I haven't chased you away, I don't mind continuing with the tour. Actually it might be better if you stick with me if our Warrior friend decides to come back for a second round."

Elisabeth listened to Sanaa, without even trying to defend herself, a real surprise ! But she's not stupid, even if she likes to fight, it was natural to her, she understood that now times have changed. The fights are over now. She'll have to handle the other dogs, even if they are unbearable like the warrior. That's wonderful... She hoped she'll be able to control her behavior. Anyway, the advices of Sanaa are pretty useful, and that's an other thing the tall female owe to her guide.
The brown female seems ready to continue the visit, just like the cream one is.

" I don't think he'll come back. He will have to face ya again, and I don't think he really want to. " Elisabeth laughs again, a true laugh this time.
" But yeah I'll stay with ya, you seem to be my savior today. " And Elisabeth starts to walk again, forgetting the Warrior to focus on the vist again.

The territory of the Following isn't similar to any other territory Elisabeth used to know. And she's sure she has still so many things to know, but with Sanaa she doubt she'll have any problem. Apparently, the guide seems able to handle the other dogs, and keep the newcomer in the right way.

Sanaa blushed. A savior? Her? "W-Well I wouldn't necessarily say i'm a savior," she laughed, which seemed to be okay since Elisabeth was looking more upbeat. Even laughing too.

The use of ma'am was enough to make Sanaa want to stop and correct the other dog. "And please, you don't have to keep calling me ma'am. Just Sanaa is okay with me," she said, still smiling so that Elisabeth knew it wasn't out of aggravation or offense that she kept calling Sanaa ma'am. After all Sanaa once had to correct one of the other dogs, the shaman Vedette, from calling her Miss. She had said the same thing then too.

Just Sanaa is fine.

With that out of the way though, Sanaa led them forward, explaining to Elisabeth the hierarchy since it was best to get that out of the way first. "See that gated arena over there? That's the Training Arena. If you want to achieve a rank here, I'm sure you'lll find yourself there very often. There are four ranks to The Ascended - Hunter, which is what I am; Sentry, Warrior, and Shaman. And above that are the Established ranks and above that you have your superiors. Pretty self-explanatory, really."

Out of the corner of her eye, Sanaa caught the trouble-making warrior staring back at them, glaring. He's still watching us. He's a relentless brute. I thought my threats might've worked. She did not quicken her pace but made sure she sidled closer to Elisabeth so that her body was on the outside, facing more towards the dog. She had meant it - if the dog wanted to continue to cause trouble, then Sanaa was more than willing to stir up conflict.

"Seems you made an impression on that guy," Sanaa commented with mirth.

" Hrm, okay Sanaa. " She accepted to call the guide only by her real name. At least, it allows Elisabeth to stop being too respectful : She clearly need to learn how to act in society.
As Sanaa continues her explaination and advices, the two dogs approached the Training Arena, something that clearly caught Elisabeth's attention. She will probably spend a lot of time her, just like Sanaa said : It will help her to get an higher rank, all that the newcomer needs. The tall female looked at the brown one, and nodded. She understood that, at the moment, she's in a sticky situation, and needed to stay calm, make good impression -as much as she can- and, of course, train a lot here.

Elisabeth feels Sanaa getting closer to her, that's how she noticed the black dog, the warrior who crossed their way. He's starring at them, without even moving. What is he doing ? The cream dog looked at the other female.
" You too, even more than me. I'm sure he's scared of you now. " Elisabeth said that with an humorous tone, but she stayed suspicious about the male. Who know what's on his mind ?
" We should stay close anyway. And... Don't look at him too much. Believe me." The warrior reminded Elisabeth of those beasts in the desert, the others animals, predators, when she was hunting with her brothers. She decided to continue on her way, waiting for Sanaa to decide where to go now. But she keep an eye on the warrior, just to be sure. He won't attack here, there's too many dogs watching, but prefered to be careful.

"He won't do anything while I'm here, but be careful if you're on your own. Just in case if he does anything," Sanaa warned, turning her attention away from the dog as they passed by the training grounds, now heading in the direction of the Sentry district. "I'll report him, but even still... it can be dangerous. Though I don't think you'd have any problems beating him up." She hadn't meant for such a dark warning, but it was true. For any of the good dogs that The Ascended housed, there were at least five more bad ones, maybe even more than that. Ones looking for fights to prove themselves.

Sanaa did not want Elisabeth to end up becoming a victim.

As they started to walk through the Sentry district, Sanaa thought to ask, "I'm a little curious. Did you come from a faraway place, Elisabeth? Like, did you come looking for The Ascended or did the Ascended find you?" Since they were covering all grounds of the Following, Sanaa thought it'd be nice to get to know the dog walking alongside her a little bit better.

Yeah, he won't be able to face me for long during a fight. Elisabeth thought, but she didn't want to make Sanaa thinks she wanted to get in trouble, by fighting this dog. The newcomer should just avoid any contact with him, for the best.
The two dogs continues on their way, now in an unknown district. As the tall cream female is looking at the shelters, and the few dogs walking near to them, Sanaa asked her about her past. Something Elisabeth isn't prepared for, even if she's conscious that someone will ask her, in a way or an other.
She took some times to respond, to find her words.

" I used to live in the desert for a long time. I was born there. " She avoided the part about her family, she prefered to stay vague about it. " And a day, I ended up in a real bad situation, and... Zonje saved me. " She looked at the sky, at the sun, even if it hurts her eyes. Due to her attraction to the religion, Zonje holds an importante place in her heart. Forever, it's sure.
" He sends two dogs, they have find me, and they brought me here. " She didn't want to become too emotional, memories of her past were still hurting her, so she changed the subject quickly, and turned her attention to Sanaa.

" I've heard that some dogs came here to praise Zonje. " She stopped for a short time. " And ya Sanaa, how did you ended in the Following ? If you don't mind me asking. " Now, Elisabeth's curious about her guide. A friendly dog like her, how did she survived in the Following, in this world ? Except her little brother, the newcomer don't remember any dog so nice, so sweet. Sometimes, too sweet. But, Sanaa showed she can be tough too. How did she joins the Following ? A lot of questions came to Elisabeth's mind, but she didn't want to become too inquisitive.

She glanced at the tall female with sympathy, her head nodding as she listened to Elisabeth's words. The desert was hard, constantly swallowing. The tall female had been lucky that Zonje saw her as fortunate to live. "Zonje saw you as worthy to live longer," Sanaa commented, hoping her words might offer some comfort. Talking about the past was always hard, whether it was unpleasant or pleasant. There always seemed to be something that haunted an individual. Sanaa could only hope, whatever was haunting Elisabeth, would fade in time.

"You're not wrong. There are a few of them who came here to learn more about Zonje." And others for... nefarious reasons, thought Sanaa, thinking of her old companion Seras. One of the non-believers.

When the question was posed back to her, Sanaa contemplated how much she could tell. "To be honest, I wasn't one of the dogs who came looking for Zonje. I already believed in Him. I just needed to escape my home, and I was very lucky to have been found by the Occultist - he's the leader of the shamans here. And, well, I've been here ever since."

She offered a shrug. "From what I know, that's how a lot of stories go. Everyone needs to escape. To have a fresh start. Wanting to believe. There are a lot of dogs in The Ascended, and I hope that that one warrior's bad attitude doesn't tarnish the rest of us here." Sanaa looked up and smiled at Elisabeth.

Sanaa had to escape something ? Elisabeth was a little surprise to hear that, but after all she had to run away too, a long time ago with her family. And looking at what the guide is saying, a lot of dogs here needed to escape their past, the danger running after them. Deep inside, the cream female felt a little better, knowing that other dogs could understand her situation if... If something happened. If her family came here... Or if it was Kleiner.
Impossible. He's dead now. He had to be.

" I hope Zonje will bring more good dogs here. " Is he looking after her family ? The newcomer hoped, maybe her family is on the way to find the Following. If not, she will find them, and offer them the life they deserve, here.
" I'm sure this warrior won't do anything wrong. After all, you're here to correct him. " Elisabeth smiled too. " And I'm here to scare him, if you need some muscles. " And so she starts to laugh.

As she's walking beside her guide, Elisabeth had some questions in mind. " Talking about muscles... Can ya tell me more about the warriors ? " But how Sanaa will react ? After all, she doesn't looks like the type of dog who likes to fight, clearly not. Unlike the newcomer. " I'd like to have an idea about the rank, ya know. " She didn't try to explain more her question, after all, who would like to be an unproven forever ? Not Elisabeth, that's for sure. She needed to prove she's worth to stay in the Following, and maybe stop living in the small den, away from the downtown. Even if she had an inkling about what a warrior consists, having Sanaa's advice will be very helpful.

"He probably won't if I report him to the Champions, but still better safe than sorry," Sanaa said with a little bit of chipper, if only to keep the conversation from being too dark. "Still, whether he's intimidating or not, there are a lot of dogs who'd do you wrong. Though I don't think I have to worry about you too much. I think you'll do well here."

When Elisabeth asked about the warriors, Sanaa had to take pause, her eyes unintentionally roving the tall dane's form. It was not a judgmental gaze at all - if Sanaa had to assume, she would think the dog could fit in easily with the other Warriors. Or perhaps the Hunters, her physique wouldn't be too bad for their ranks.

But how could she answer that? "Weeeell they're like guards of the city. If anything dangerous happens, they respond to it. And admittedly there can be some activity around. Like they seek and destroy, so to speak." As those words left her mouth, Sanaa realized how negative that must've sounded. It was true, no doubt based on what she had seen exhibited from the brutish dogs, but perhaps there was some merit to it, no? "Honestly, the best advice I could give is say you should seek out some of the warriors. You can't miss them, they're all battle-scarred and what not. They tend to hang by the training arena too."

Sanaa considered her words a moment long before adding, "I know a warrior who might be willing to give you some advice if you ask. His name is Murchadh. Big brown fellow who sometimes walks around with a red bandana. You can't miss him. There's another guy I know, but I don't know him too well if he'd want to sit for a chat or not."

Of course there was always the Deacon Vasilios... A thought that had Sanaa frowning upon remembering the merciless dog's face. Resentment and fear boiling within her for what he made her do.

The newcomer listened carefully to Sanaa's instructions, sure this will be usefull in a near future. After all, the brown female knows the place, the dogs, everything ! And Elisabeth need to learn more about the Following.
" I'll listen to your advice. " Elisabeth took some time to decide what to do after, but as Sanaa said, spending some times with warriors will be useful, to understand what being in this rank mean, and how to join it.
" I'll find these dogs, this... Murchadh ? I'll try to find him on my own. You've done a lot for me today. " Unsure about how all of this will go, Elisabeth won't hesitate to spend time with the warriors. They aren't as bad as the dark male, she hoped. She'll find someone who will help her, she'll prove herself worth to join the rank.
She's a little excited about all of that, in fact. She cannot wait to show how she can defend herself, but also the Following, to the other dogs. Elisabeth hesitated, knowing the dog is uncomfortable with the idea of Elisabeth's debt toward her.
" I don't know how to thank ya so ... Well, thank ya. And tell me if ya need any help one day okay ? Not as a debt ! " The cream dog smiled, and said " You're my friend now, so no problem if I help ? " She winked, happy to spend some time with someone like Sanaa. With a friend.

"Well I just want to make sure you're off to the right footing here," Sanaa offered, swelling with pride from Elisabeth's compliment. Every compliment, small or not, was always worthwhile to Sanaa, and she took them all to heart. Elisabeth was definitely a dog she would keep in the shadows of her mind, and she could only hope the tall female would succeed in The Ascended.

When the thank you's started to come from Elisabeth's mouth, Sanaa blushed a little. "Oh no, no, thank you for being great company." Her smile grew more with Elisabeth declaring her as a friend, a feeling that always made her insides warm. She didn't know too much about the other female beyond simply her being here, but it was nice to at least know she made a good impression upon the other dog.

"I will definitely keep that in my mind should I ever need your help, Elisabeth. I'm very grateful to Zonje that I was able to call you my friend this day."
